Suncatcher Craft- Little Kid Friendly

My three year old and I had so much fun with this craft!!!

Supplies Needed:
- White Glue
- Food Coloring
-Wax Paper
- Ribbon or Wire (something to hang suncatcher with)
- Glue Gun
-Cute Kid - optional

We decided to do heart suncatchers so I started by outlining hearts in glue on wax paper.  You could do any shape you want!

Next we added food coloring to the white glue.  I found it easiest to add the food coloring and then stir it with a toothpick or skewer.  My three year old loved shaking the glue until the color spread.

Now the fun part!!!  Fill in the outline with the colored glue...go crazy!!!
***Don't be shy with the glue- if it goes on too thin they become brittle when they dry.

Job well done!

Let the glue dry for 24 hours.  This is the hard part because the kids are ready to show off their hard work but they have to be patient!

Once the suncatchers are dry peel them off the wax paper and use hot glue to attach ribbon or wire onto the back so you are able to hang them.

 Happy Crafting!!
