Mini Craft Kits

If your kids are anything like mine then they love crafts!  We recently had a few friends over which included 8 children.  I was going to break out the craft box but worried that my house would be covered in sparkles and beads within minutes.  My son and I decided to put together mini craft packs which reduced fighting over supplies and it kept my house nice and tidy.

Each mini kit fit inside a sandwich bag.

Craft Kit #1- Fuzzy Caterpillar

Put the following in each bag: (2) pipe cleaners, (1) tongue depressor and (2) googly eyes

Directions: Wrap the pipe cleaners around the tongue depressor (one after the other so they cover almost the entire depressor) and then glue on the googly eyes.  Super simple but the kids love it!!!

Craft Kit #2- Pirate Sticker Kit
Put the following in each bag: (3) pirate stickers and (1) piece of blue paper (1/4 of a sheet)

Directions: Let the kids go crazy with the stickers and have them color over their creation.  Beyond simple and could be done with any stickers!

Craft Kit #3- Magic Wand
Put the following in each bag: (2) sticker sheets, (2) pom poms, (1) tongue depressor and (1) pipe cleaner.

Instructions: Let the kids put the stickers and pipe cleaner on the wand and glue on the pom poms.  I broke out the glitter glue (which they love) and then let them add some extra sparkle.

I used some left over wrapping paper from the holidays as small workstations and added some snacks to the bags because who doesn't like snacks.

Happy Crafting!
